Gear Reduction Systems And Pinions

 

Our latest in house design drive system. This compact drive system gives the simplicity of installation and ease of setup along with super strong CNC machined fiberglass motor plate.  No more melted plastic or worn out screw slots as with comparable designs offered elsewhere. Also included is resin molded plastic gear box base and gear cover along with all needed hardware to complete assembly.

Note: .This kit does not require a separate motor mount and or coupling / universal connection between the gearbox drive shaft and prop shaft.

This new system allows you to change gear ratios without removing the drive motor you can use the following stocked 48 pitch gears teeth #'s 12, 13, 14, 15,16, 17, 18, 19, & 20. Kit comes complete with 2.5:1 ratio (14T pinion) Also If you prefer using the Traxxes style gears we offer it as kit without gears

Completely redesigned to be smaller and smoother that ever! Now you now can operate 2 propeller shafts with 1 drive motor (with prop sizes 1-1/2" or less) output shafts rotate opposite of each other.  This gearbox is perfect for cruisers, small battlecruisers, and small battleships.

Brand New!  This new gearbox allows you to drive 1 shaft with two 550 motors.  This gearbox is the perfect solution for ships that power only a center shaft, such as the DKM Scharnhorst and DKM Bismarck.  In addition, this design will fit nicely in extremely large ships, such as the IJN Yamato.
